Senior Training Advisor
About the Opportunity
Based in Henderson, the Senior Training Advisor will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of high quality learning and development programs that supports organisational capability and performance.
This role provides advice on training approaches and ensures all learning activities support business goals and meet required standards. In this role, the Senior Training Advisor works with stakeholders to identify training needs, creating practical learning solutions, and review how effective the training is.
They also support and guide team members, contribute to improving training processes, and use modern tools and methods to keep learning engaging

What’s Involved
- Lead the delivery of learning and development initiatives that build workforce capability.
- Analyse capability data to identify gaps, priorities and targeted development needs.
- Design and oversee learning programs, frameworks and curriculum that support organisational goals.
- Develop learning pathways and provide expert advice on effective learning strategies and best practice.
- Lead the design and facilitation of training aligned to competency standards and development plans.
- Maintain and enhance the organisation’s technical capability and competency frameworks.
- Conduct needs analyses and deliver practical, relevant learning solutions for operational teams.
- Design, coordinate and deliver blended learning programs, including eLearning, workshops and onâtheâjob learning.
- Build, update and maintain eLearning modules using Articulate 360, Storyline or similar platforms.
- Supporting internal assessments and VET programs.
You’ll Need
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and evidenceâbased practice.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and familiar with LMS and eLearning platforms.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify information and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to analyse workforce data and turn insights into practical recommendations.
- Proven capability in designing, adapting and delivering learning solutions that meet business needs.
- Experience translating operational, technical or compliance requirements into effective training.
- Experience in engineering, industrial, manufacturing, or operational environments will be highly regarded.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in training or competency management, with a track record of coordinating and delivering learning programs.
